JOE'S LIST OF COOL CHICKS

Fairuza Balk

she has this... like, crazy junkie thing going that really does something. I don't know why. She's never been in a good movie (that I've seen, and that includes The Craft and Things to do in Denver When You're Dead) but she's a good enough reason to watch ANY movie
I won't list every movie she's been in (cause I don't really care) but I will tell you where I've seen her before

Return to Oz
(saw it in the 6th grade, haven't seen it sense, don't remember a damn thing about it)

The Craft
(first time I noticed her. Out side of style, the movie would have been worthless with out her (it was pretty much worthless WITH her... it was a dumb movie) but god... how cool can one girl get? I was amazed) Things to do in Denver When You're Dead (this one was even worse the Two Days in the Valley (which DIDN'T have Fairuza Balk,  in fact, Eric Stoltz was the only salvageable person in the bunch) it was one of the many movies obviously written
fifteen minutes after watching Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction. Fairuza plays a junkie prostitute that wants to get pregnant by Andy Garcia. Steve Buscemmi was in it as a bitchin' hit man. Christopher Lloyd tried to do another serious role (after the actually good film 20 Bucks where he played a robber...very well) and Treat Williams plays a psycho dude (the Mad Dog Mat Murdock of this film) and is OK but only cause he's Treat Williams and I never expected ANYTHING good from him

I know I've seen her a couple of other times (some movie where she was a little kid hanging out with Tim Curry

Lily Taylor

Lily Taylor is a super great actress, and is definitely desirable in her own weird way... really weird way. I have no idea why I like her.
She's hardly pretty, but I do for sure like her I don't remember all the things I've seen her in...

Short cuts
a very cool movie directed by Robert Altman. It's about a bunch of people's lives intermingling. It's rad. Lyle Lovet is in it and he's super cool. Tim Robins is in it and Tim Robins makes ANY movie good. He's the man

The Addiction
a movie that, while making a valiant effort, was too silly to take seriously. BUT She was very cool as a vampire. AND it had Christopher Walken.. the coolest actor to walk the earth

Four Rooms
an all right movie, fairly funny in parts. Particularly cool performances by Tim Roth, Antonio Banderas (who I actively dislike on all other occasions... who also should have been cast as Two Face in Batman Forever) and of course, Lily Taylor, who plays a spacey witch in a coven with Madonna, Valeria Golino, The Misbehaviors segment is good, the Tarentino segment is better. It has the guy who played the bartender in Pulp fiction in it, that
was pretty cool.

i know I've seen more of her, I just can't remember where. I'll update as it comes to me.

Sandra Rendle

The coolest, smartest, sexiest, nicest, grooviest, prettiest, and all around greatest girl Canada has ever produced. She's totally rad, and hella cool. She wants lots of E Mail too so write her at Sandra's E MAIL Say lots of really nasty stuff, but nothin' mean, cause she's sensitive.

Janeane Garofalo

I remember falling in love with this lady here back when she was on the Ben Stiller Show and I was 14. Then they canceled the show, and I forgot about her. Then she turns up on the Larry Sanders show, and I fell in love again, not even realizing that it was the same person from The Ben Stiller Show. She's
just too groovy. here's the movies and stuff that I've seen with her

The Ben Stiller Show
the funniest defunct show ever made next to the State. I laughed out load every time I watched it. The Larry Sanders Show another very funny show. Funny in a different way, but very funny.

Reality Bites
a very pale movie... plus, Janeane plays a slutty chick and sleeps with a bunch of guys and I got all protective (as best could from my couch) and jealous. It sucked, despite being directed by Ben Stiller.

The Truth About Cats and Dogs
one of the WORST movies I've ever seen! It's about this guy who falls in love with Janeane from listening to her radio show. Then she gets all self conscious about her looks and asks Uma Thurman to step in and pretend she's her. It's basically Cyrino Deburgerac (I'm not going to look it up! So there!) 'cept with chicks. The thing that I don't get and one of the MANY things that made this movie horrible, was: why was Janeane the ugly girl? I would rather make out with Janeane over homely Uma ANY day (and I kinda like Uma too, that's not meant as a slam on Uma) I wish that MORE girls looked like
Janeane and less like Uma

Romy and Michele's High School Reunion
this movie had GREAT potential, but in the rush to get it out before Mira Sorvino got too famous and Lisa Kudrow got too unfamous they lost a story. The characters are great and there were a lot of good scenes, but the movie all over sucked. Unfortunately, it was obvious that the character Janeane played
had been written for her, but not written BY her, and it was terrible. She was annoying and not nearly as cool as usual.

SONYA ( That's Sone-ya, like "Ammonia, not like Tonya )

She's a totally rad chick from SO CAL who hates a guy named Chad and worships the Beastie Boys. She is willing to become a Monk if it means that she can score with them, or more specifically, Adam Yauch (is that right?). Here's her E Mail though, I would advise NOT sending her nasty E Mail... Sonya's E MAIL I don't think she would like it.

Rhonda
Rohnda is a totally cool chick that I know who also writes and wants to direct movies like me. She's 16 and extremely wise beyond her years (or, as Fiona Apple would say "not wise beyond MY years, but wise beyond other people's 16 years") and always seems to impress me with her intellect and extremely good taste in movies, TV shows and Music.

P.J. Harvey

Poly Jean Harvey... hmm... She's a singer for those of you that don't know (and unfortunately, that's most of you : I )and she's incredibly... interesting. She's not really pretty, but she is definitely cool. When she sings she sounds like she's either killing of having mad passionate sex with someone, or something. She is definitely my favorite female singer, and Alanis Morreste should be paying her royalties.

MILLA

This incredibly, ubelievably cute woman was a model for a while (I will forgive her for that) and then moved on to sing, which, surpiringly, was an incredibly wise movie because she's very good, and then moved onto acting, which, in her case, is modeling again. She was good in The Fifth Element, but, other than that, she was just a pretty face.

MOVIES I'VE SEEN HER IN

DAZED AND CONFUSED
TO be honest, I don't even remember her being in it, but she's right on the movie poster on my wall... weird, huh?

CHAPLIN
A decent movie... maybe a little... boring at times, and it was obviously written with big shiny oscars in mind... but, Robert Downey Jr. was good in it, and so was Keven Klien (who I DON'T like) was actually pretty cool as Dougless Fairbanks. She was naked briefly and that was cool... but it wasn't that much to get excited about.

THE FIFTH ELEMENT
An okay action/sci-fi flick... she plays the perfect woman (not a stretch) and she's naked often, though, for some reason, I can't remember seeing anything... hmm... anyway... she had this wild ed hair and looked like Ragedy-Anne. Bruce Willis was Bruce Willis and Gary Oldman was Gary Oldman (cept with a Texas accent) and Tricky was Tricky... it's worth seeing... eye candy... better than T2 (which isn't saying much because T2 SUCKED, but that was the first eye candy movie that came to mind)

Mostly what I know her as is a singer... suprisingly, her CD The Devine Comedy is extreamly entertaining and one of my favorites... i listen to it often.
